In person worship resumes Sunday, May 9th at 10am at Linwood Spiritual Center, Mill Road, Rhinebeck
The vestry has approved the resumption of in person worship, as long as it is deemed safe to do so by local and state health officials as well as on the advice of trusted members of the medical and scientific community. We are hoping that on Mother’s Day, May 9th, at 10 AM we will be able to gather safely out of doors at the open air pavilion at Linwood Spirituality Center here in Rhinebeck, rain or shine. It is a beautiful site overlooking the Hudson River and has plenty of room to gather safely. More details will be forthcoming, but our hope is to be able to celebrate communion once again and we will keep you all posted. We will meet there through the summer until our church is ready and it is safe to gather again indoors for worship. The service will be broadcast via ZOOM and will be recorded for YouTube.
As important as Sunday Worship is, our life together is filled with many opportunities to serve others and to experience community. From the Food Pantry, our Sunday Morning education forum, to the Third Thursday Luncheon program, the Messiah Community is busy and engaged. The Capital Campaign
The Parish is currently in the process of raising a significant amount of money to address the long-standing issues of water infiltration through our roof and walls and the resulting damage to the building. In addition to the nearly $2 million pledged by members of the congregation, we are looking to grants and community businesses and institutions to help us in this important work. If you’d like to be part of this historic capital campaign, please email the Parish Office, or talk to Fr. Richard.
